From July 7-20 John and Cheryl Phalen traveled to Kenya to minister at the Mattaw Children's Village in Kitale, Kenya. They also visited other missionaries in Limuru on the way.

fbckeller > This is Francis on the right who was one of Lynn and Olan's former seminary students, He has now graduated. One the left is Mama OBrien, she is the wife of one of their other former seminary students named Benson. We gave them some of Renee's hats for their children. They have a total of 7 and live on the Burrow's compound.

fbckeller > Mary's mud house. This is where we found her very ill last year. One of the college students, Jessie, from Tyler, TX was with us.

fbckeller > Mary is the young girl we resuced last year and we came to bring some gifts for her including a cross necklace that was sent by Landon and JT Sleeper, the Phalen's grandsons. Issac is translating. Family members are watching.

fbckeller > Cross necklace and other gifts brought for Mary including a hat made by Renee's group.

fbckeller > John and Issac, the house dad for house 1 at Mattaw visiting with a Taito village resident named Festus. Cheryl had met him last year.

fbckeller > Cheryl teaching Bible study for Mattaw church members.
